Q: I don't have Microsoft Access. Can I still
use TROPHeTRACKER? A: Yes. You need the RUNTIME which is free and allows you to operate TROPHeTRACKER without requiring the full version of MS Access. Refer to our Downloads page.
Q: I have Microsoft Access 2003, and I get a
"Security Warning" message when I start TROPHeTRACKER that says
"This file may not be safe if it contains code that was intended to harm
your computer." A: Access 2003 will give this message when
opening any Access program file created with an earlier version of Access
without a signed digital certificate. Just click OK, and proceed and if you are not comfortable, you can scan
it with your anti-virus software.

Q: I currently have MS Access 2002 and plan on upgrading to MS Access 2007, but I'm running the TROPHeTRACKER version applicable to MS Access 2002. Can I upgrade to TROPHeTRACKER for MS Access 2007, and what will it cost? A: Yes you can upgrade your TROPHeTRACKER version and there is NO cost to do this as long as you have the original registered version of TROPHeTRACKER. Simply refer to our installation procedures provided in the ...TROPHeTRACKER/Notes folder in your windows browser that accompanies your download. You may be prompted to input your registry key that was provided with your original registered version.
Q: If the rules suddenly change in the Taxidermy industry such as new information necessary for Federal compliance tags, won't that make the TROPHeTRACKER reports obsolete? A: We've advanced in technology over the past decade. Any new rules or regulations, or in general, any changes that become necessary will be made to the program and become available as an updated version to you at no cost. We will email you when new updates become available.
Q: What is a registration key? A: Not a key like you put in your car ignition to start it, rather a code of alpha characters or numbers that are unique to your computer. Simply type the code in the pop-up box when prompted and you will be registered.
Q: I have a Mac computer, can I use TROPHeTRACKER? A: You will need PC emulation software. Microsoft produces a few and we believe Virtual PC for Macs is the software required to run PC applications such as MS access or the runtime. You should also be able to test that software along with TROPHeTRACKER for 30 days. We have not tested our software through a PC emulator for Mac computers, but can't foresee any reasons why it would not work.
